1. On Campus Placement
- It is the placement drive organised in collages, to help students in their final year of collage get recruited in a company.
- The type of companies or brands that come to a collage for hiring are determined by the reputation of the collage.
- Round of assessment:
- Written subject specific assessment
- Group discussion
- Aptitude test
- Interview round with the panelists
- For applying, one has to be ready with updated the resume. A cover letter is not required.
2. Off Campus Placement
- Off campus placements are placements that happen off the campus premises.
- For this, the student has to apply directly to the company where he/she wants to work.
- Since the collage is not involved here, it is a good way of applying to any company of your choice, and shirking off your collage reputation.
- Round of assessment:
- More than one subject specific assessments
- Group discussion (May or may not take place)
- Aptitude test
- Multiple Interview rounds
- For applying, one needs a resume and a cover letter for each company.
